多米尼加共和国是中华民国的邦交国，从中国大陆过去还是非常困难的。网上有些许去多米尼加自由行的攻略，多是持法国或美国签证，获得了去多米尼加的免签资格，才得以成行。我这次因公前往，则更加麻烦，还需要外交部审批，行前一周匆匆拿到的签证上居然还盖着多米尼加日本领馆的印戳。

在多米尼加的一周里，也是极少见到黄皮肤的同胞，亚洲脸都很少见。只有一次在圣多明各的Plaza Lama超市里与两个长着中国脸的女性擦肩而过，双方的眼神里都露出一份惊讶。不过据当地人介绍，圣多明各是有唐人街的，我没有机会去，估计会是台湾人比较多吧。

Barcelo度假村里西方人居多。同行的一位德国人说，这里实在是太便宜了，每天一百多美金的全包价格，即可自在享受惬意生活。

Punta Cana is part of the Punta Cana-Bávaro-Veron-Macao municipal district in La Altagracia, the easternmost province of the Dominican Republic.
